"The reason this facility gets rave reviews is they keep the place super clean and they are on top of bed sores and infections, other then that it is a death sentence for most ,put is basically non existent ,the bells in the rooms for help go unattended and make it impossible for any patient to get proper sleep, most employees in nursing seem to work 2 and 3 jobs so when you surprise visit at 2am you find staff sleeping. There are some positives they do have plenty of activities and some of the day staff go above and beyond ,but this place is smoke and mirrors they know how to get over the inspections , appearance means everything to pencil pushers who come during business hours and do not see the whole picture.I arrived here for a visit at 3:45 4th floor and the bells have not stopped and there is limited staff it is now 5:25 ,you make your own judgement"
"My Mom went there for PT after hip fracture my mom is 81 years old and she had a stroke befor fracture...she styed 3 weeks .the staff is amazing every one knows their duties and doing it without asking. Food is good . Very clean place.aids are kind hearted and my Mom loved them so much especially Enga , Sharon and Grace . Nurses are so good and doctors too . I highly recommend this place to anyone cares about his family members very much its so safe place for your loved ones and even for their belongings"
"My father was not taken care of right. after having a rod and pin in his hip he went to seaview When he got there he was great and had to be rushed to the hospital due to dehydration and labored breathing after 3 days. Dementia patients should be in front of nurses station and my dad was down the hall away from anyone. He was left with no tray table and water one day. Thank god someone came after work. If you want good care for a relative DO NOT go to seaview it’s a horrible place. They will kill your loved one"
"Wow,,, Husband had hip surgery & was to have phys. therapy short term. Attendant came outside with wrong wheelchair, no foot stand on it. Left to return with one & when he attempted to lift his leg on it, was raising it almost past his waist as wheelchair was too low. He's 6'1. Not to mention that seating of wheelchair was dirty with food. We get upstairs , I attempt to give staff member folder from Hospital with all info when she told me to wait & go to the room first. When we go into the room, it is so hot, we realize their is no air-conditioning. Its 86 degrees out & humid. The attendant then tells me to wait in hallway while he sponge-baths my husband. Head and arms. ?? OK- We waited 20 minutes before staff came to room. She was going to take his temp. But we asked her why room was so warm? Her response was as if shrugging it off " Oh its not working". I immediately told her that he was not able to stay in there with no air. Since they did not say or do anything about that we decided to leave. They stopped us at the elevator asking that we sign him out. How if we never signed him in. I asked if we could borrow the walker so he could walk to the car and they're answer was flat out NO. This place is obviously not equipped for a person that has had hip surgery. The staff needs better training in admitting patients. And someone needs to inspect this place more often. I would definitely not go there. Find somewhere else."
