"He performed surgery on me n 2016. Great surgeon, he literally saved my life"
"I recently had hernia surgery with Dr. Krikhely at the Mt. Sinai hospital in Brooklyn. My overall experience was EXCELLENT. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Krikhely explained everything to me, reviewed the Cat-scan I took and explained the technique of the surgery. Everything went very well. I highly recommend Dr. Krikhely and his wonderful office staff - Julia and Veronica - they are all wonderful and accommodating people!"
"I wouldn’t recommend this office! Back in March, I had an appointment with the doctor Merab Krikhely. I waited for an hour before he called me to his office, then I spent 10-15 minutes with a doctor and he referred me to a CT scan. I was waiting for a referral for another 30-40 minutes. In 1 month I received a statement with my responsibility, but I noticed that they billed the wrong procedure code. They billed me for 30-44 minutes instead of 15. I called a lot of times to Julie and she told me that she could help and she would get back to me when she had a decision. She didn’t get back to me at all but a few days ago I received a statement from the collector agency. If you do not want to be cheated, avoid this office."
"I felt this is the worst doctor! My sincerest advise to anyone is please never go to him. He performed a hernia surgery where the patient was in a lot of pain after the surgery. From beginning, I questioned how come instead non invasive surgery which requires less time to heel the Dr. chose an older style of surgery. My father died because he never healed after this terrible surgery and pain. The surgeon refused to prescribe the necessary amount of pain killer medications to go through his healing process. He only gave enough for a couple of days. The doctor was so arrogant that when I came to his office once with my dad and he had no other patients in a waiting room, he refused to accept us even for a minute. Total neglect. He blamed the patient for feeling pain and said it’s imaginary pain in his head, the patient imagining it. What a poor shameful excuse??!! Maybe it’s time to admit that your surgery went wrong? Maybe insurance doesn’t cover another surgery immediately so you would not waist time!??! I know my dad for many years. He was the type of man who would brake his leg and would not complain, he could get his foot bone removed and wouldn't complain a bit. It was a strong and young 58 year old patient ! This doctors callous behavior caused a terrible loss to my dad and trauma to all of our family. I question why such doctors still can work and perform surgeries. Based on the result it is possible that his surgery was badly done. I am not a doctor but it seems possible that perhaps the mesh was left loose, or not stitched correctly, causing a painful stretch of the nearby muscles, touching them, etc. Maybe the mesh was extremely large or a low quality and that caused MAJOR problems to my poor dad. Something felt terribly wrong with my father and the doctor who performed this surgery!! This doctor after surgery lacked any care and the guidance, support that may ultimately have lead to my dad ending it leading to my dads decision not to live anymore in major pain. Shame on such doctors ! If you have a chance please choose wisely your choice for a good medical professional!"
"Doctor Krikhely is very good and thorough with his patients. I was admitted at Mount Sinai Hospital for abdominal pain that’s when I met Dr.Krikhely and he ordered all kind of tests to find out the reason of my pain. And finally, he did and I ended up having a surgery that saved my life."
