"Had a nice experience returning to Dr Schiowitz' practice today after a couple of years! Nothing beats the clarity & confidence of this Dr. I'm so happy I returned. May God bless him and his family with many healthy years to come!"
"The entire experience from the moment I walked in was fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient and Dr. Schiowitz was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to address all my concerns and questions. I left the office feeling confident in the care I received. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor look no further."
"Dr Avi Schiowitz and his father Emanuel have been my primary care physicians for over 30 years. I find they are fantastic diagnosticians and are friendly , patient , and have a warm bedside manner."
"My first visit to this dr. First the waiting area is disgusting . Then when I was told to fill out paperwork could barely read the horrible copies that were given to me. Then was called in receptionist handed me my chart and told me what room. Dr. cane in with interns in tow. Felt very overwhelmed and uncomfortable. Extremely unsatisfied. Will not be going back"
"Amanda at the front desk was rude and very inconsiderate. The women behind the desk cannot make appointments and they endanger lives during covid 19. My grandmother had an appointment at 10 and they told me she would be in and out without a wait bc of her age. I called them at 930 and we were early and she said the doctor was not even in yet. I rang the bell to the office at 10 and there was a waiting room full of people (not socially distant) the women behind the window were not wearing any protective gear and the whole doctors office is just unsafe. It's horrible bc my grandma has been going to Emanuel for years before his son became the primary doctor. I would highly not recommend such a place to get any medical care. You cannot reach anyone bc of the outdated phone system if there is an emergency. The office is in shambles and I doubt they deep clean. Please don't bring your loved ones here. ***edit after the incident another receptionist came and resolved the issue and explained with the terrible weather-the doctor was late bc he travels quite a distance and 2 other very sick patients according to the doctor needed to be seen before my grandmother. The office and doctors do know my grandmother for years and they did have her come in through the back and right to a room. They did try their best to resolve the situation. Avi has excellent bedside manner and he takes the time to review medications and do a check up. I do however think they really need hire better front staff and the woman who came out to resolve the problems was very kind and genuine. The phone system needs to be updated and they need to have better management with the elderly and all patients during this pandemic."
