"I have been going to Dr. White the past few years. I liked her associate Dr.'s care very much . She's incredibly thorough and breaks information down to you really well. I didn't really interact with Dr. White much until last year or so. For OBGYN matters my care was fine and for basic needs like a yearly check up it seemed ok. But for serious matters I was gaslit and not treated with seriousness at all. She was also incredibly forgetful which freaked me out to be honest the last couple times I did go to her. She kept mixing up pertinent information from where to send my scripts to how long I had been suffering with back pain or where the pain resided. Most recently, I complained about my chronic back pain for the 2nd time and more seriously, loss of mobility in my toes and part of my foot. I expressed concern it was a brain issue to Dr. White. She told me not to worry and it's not likely that serious. She said "since you have been tripping i'll send you to the podiatrist." She then sent me a list of podiatrists. I thought that was odd since podiatrist seemed way to localized. I felt it obvious I needed to speak to a Dr. of the nerves, spinal cord, brain aka a neurologist. But I listened to her because she was my doctor and I wanted to trust her. I used the list of podiatrists, discovering only 1 PD on the list was even within my network. That podiatrist was a total quack and told me I need to do more yoga and stretching. He was literally garbage and seemed pretty bigoted. I endured more loss of mobility in my foot and leg for a month and was reduced to using a cane to get around. I had to rely on an orthopedic doctor (also from a list she gave me for my chronic back pain) who sent me to a neurologist..(that neurologist's office was trash unfortunately. Very Unprofessional. I had to report them after they violated my hyppa rights there). Finally I took it upon myself to go to the ER @ NYU Langone where I found out I had a lesion in my brain that was pressing on the areas that control my leg and foot mobility. GO figure... I was right. I had brain surgery / biopsy the next day and stayed in the hospital 9 days. I had recovery for 2 months and was informed I have MS. When I told Dr. White and her office what happened they had the nerve to ask if I want to come in for a follow up. No apology or expression of genuine concern for a major lack of insight that could have caused me further damage or my life."
"This was my first time visiting Dr. White’s office and it won’t be the last. The lady at the front desk was so nice and patient. She explained all the paperwork to me being that I’m a new patient there. I am scared of needles b/c of previous bad experiences, but the lady who drew my blood was quick and efficient and did a great job at keeping me relaxed. I love how attentive the staff is & I was in & out of there within an hour."
"First time visiting Dr. White’s medical office as my new PCP and she was very nice and patient with me. The staff was nice as well."
"I have been going to Dr. White since this office has opened. The professional and impersonal experience I receive here is incomparable and I REFUSE to go anywhere else. The doctors here explain my health in a way that’s palatable and digestible for someone who is not a medical professional (me)! Dr. White is very transparent and I have great respect for what she does. Thank you for everything."
"I am only giving this place two stars based off of my interactions with the doctors here. While the staff can be pleasant and tries to talk in a nice manner or tone. This place is inefficiently ran and needs new management or something. I switch to this facility as my PCP last year and upon my first appointment I did not see a physician for at least 4 hours even with an appointment. I needed a physical so I stayed. Fast forward to this year I schedule an appointment and was going to be about 15 to 20 mins late and was told I would have to reschedule. I rescheduled for two weeks later and had an appointment for around 11:30. I got to the office at 11:00 so that I wouldn't take all day. SAME exact thing happened. waiting for over 2 1/2 hours to be seen for 15 minutes. I did routine blood work and was told that my results would be on my portal if there wasn't any issues or the doctor would call me for a follow up. My appointment was on 09/30. It is now 10/14 and I still have not gotten my results on my portal so I decided to call. To my surprise (NOT REALLY) my results have been in and just haven't been reviewed by the doctor so they cannot be posted online. I am confused because I have been waiting for two weeks. I was then asked if I wanted to schedule a follow up appointment to review my results. I said no I would like for the doctor to review them and post them online so I am not waiting another 3 hours in the office when like everyone else I have a job. Why is it that my results can be reviewed in person through an appointment when the doctor hasn't even seen it yet? I am not in the business of scheduling an appointment just so you can bill my insurance to have a five minute conversation. this is very disheartening and disappointing as I really looked forward to have an African American woman as my doctor and the reason why I drove all the way from queens to Brooklyn to attend this facility. sadly I will be changing my doctor once I get my results. I do hope the way this place is ran gets better or maybe they take in less clients so that we are not sitting in the waiting for hours wasting our lives. thank you for the service"
