"Hi Erica from the office staff. Let me let you in on a little something. If your boss, Dr. Saran, is on ZocDoc, it is- IN FACT your job to access the site and find our insurance. Now, me being a CNA, I completely understand how inconvenient that is, having to actually log in and look at your new patients info, such a hassle! (sense my sarcasm?) I can understand how sometimes authorizing insurance can be difficult, but I will not accept your nasty attitude. To recap, this appointment was made three days prior to your phone call about the insurance. That means you had three whole days to verify our insurance and call us with any issues. You decided to wait until two hours prior to his exam, that’s our fault? Now, if my insurance card is on Zocdoc and you didn’t feel like getting it, the least you can do is be polite and reschedule his appointment. Most people choose video calls because they do not have time to visit the doctor for a consultation, so now you’re calling him 2 hours prior to his appointment while he’s at work pressing him for an insurance card that is clearly stored on Zocdoc? .. and then you decide to give my husband an attitude? It doesn’t work like that sweetie. You didn’t do your job properly, the patient deserves an apology not an attitude."
