"To any who might be wondering, Spear Physical Therapy at Union Street in Park Slope is a terrific place with an extremely positive atmosphere. The physical space itself is bright, airy, and clean, and the staff extremely welcoming. Never before had I been in physical therapy. I went there for treatment of tennis elbow and a shoulder impingement for a period of 6 weeks. On each visit, I was met by kind and courteous staff, including a woman named Britney at the front desk, who always helped make me feel at home. Dominick Platzer, my therapist, was considerate, responsive to comments and questions, and clearly an expert in his work. His confidence and care was reassuring and, ultimately, helped me make great headway in treating my symptoms and alleviating pain.
