"I have been telling these people for 2 weeks I need a prescription refill for pain management. They will call you ALL day to make sure you will keep your appointment, but don’t do what’s necessary to get you what’s needed. They gave me a leg brace that falls off every time I try to use it. I explained it doesn’t fit right, I was told they will exchange it..NEVER HAPPENED. I had an appointment yesterday for pain management and the doctor wasn’t there, and was told they would handle it. I had another 7:30am appointment today and was told They would send my prescription today just to get a phone call for ME to call my pharmacy and tell them they need to request for a refill… just for my pharmacy to tell me I need a new prescription. I call Hands of hope back, just for someone else to call me and tell me I need to go across town to see a doctor. …IM DONE, I WONT BE BACK!"

"Hands of Hope has 2 practices in one - a PT practice and a pain management practice. This review is for the latter (the pain management practice). Beware - this is not a competent place and while the PT is fine, stay clear of the pain management folks. It all started when an MRI was ordered for a problem area (being treated with PT). The PA who ordered the MRI was relatively competent, although it was evident that experience just wasn’t there. But fine, got the MRI done, didn’t get a call back until I scheduled an appointment (not convenient and a red flag that there wasn’t MD review, but again, so far nothing bad). What happened next was bordering on malpractice - and I don’t use that term lightly. During the appointment, another PA who didn’t examine me before saw me. Not only was she not prepared at all, having no history of the visit beforehand, but it was clear that neither she nor the supervising MD reviewed imaging. For whatever reason the imaging was on the wrong area of the shoulder. Nobody bothered to check that, reading back simply what the radiologist concluded - unremarkable. The fact that there’s no MD oversight is just plain wrong, particularly when you’re dealing with pain and recovery. This presents not only a licensing issue, but serious billing issues, alongside patient care."

"While they weren’t able to help with my issue as my doctor requested a specialized treatment, the PT was so nice and communicated this instead of trying to treat something she wasn’t able to fully help with. She also offered the visit as complimentary due to being unable to treat me, even after spending time with me and giving me some exercises. I would go back here if I ever had another issue I needed PT for!"
