"Although Dr. Xu seems to genuinely care and spend ample time with patients, each time I’ve come here I’ve waited at least 2 hours, no exception. It’s always so cramped in this tiny office that people have to stand in the hallway and wait, leading me to believe that they over book their schedule. Why schedule me for 10 when I’m guaranteed to be seen at 12? In addition, in the tiny waiting room you hear everything the receptionists are shouting over the phone and to other patients, the bathroom is next to everyone so you can hear that too, and sometimes the staff speak about patient information from the lab out into the waiting room causing concerns about HIPAA due to how cramped the space is. These factors definitely deter me from coming here regularly as I don’t always have 2 hours to stand around in a small space with sick people."

"The best family doctor I’ve ever had. Have been seeing her for a few years now. Although she may initially come across as somewhat reserved, and not very chatty, I can tell that she goes above and beyond for her patients and cares deeply for their health. She doesn’t cut corners and does due diligence for each patient. Incredibly rare to come across a family physician displaying this level of thoroughness. Although there is sometimes a bit of a wait, the level of care and attention here is worth it. So worth it in fact, that I trek across the city from another borough just for her visits. Very grateful to call her my doctor ❤️"

"Pros - staff is professional and capable. I’m always able to make an appointment to be seen, even if it’s last minute. Dr. Jing Xu is thorough and capable. Cons - I’m not sure how they are managing their schedules, but they’re doing something wrong when the standard wait time to be seen (with an appointment) is 1-2 hours. No explanations or apologies are given when they finally call you. It’s a huge turnoff and comes off as disrespectful to the patients time. Overall - only go if you have a lot of flexibility in your schedule because you will certainly have to wait and hour+ when you come to their office, even with an appointment"

"I have been her patient for a few years now. From Flushing to Emhurest office. Dr. Xu is a great PCP ever…. Professional and have a very kind heart, she actually care about her patients which is rare now. Dr. Xu might behinds her schedule sometimes, but I understand, Emergency walk-in and things might get complicated with her parents. I really don’t mind to wait a little longer to see her, to get her listen to my issues, to solve my problems…. I would recommend Dr. Xu to my family and friends which I already did. Oh, about wait time, I usually get first appointment of the day or somewhere around 4PM, in this case, even she is running late, I know I am able to see her within my schedule. Also, ask front desk about which day her schedule is on the light side of you are flexible."
