"The building is clean and lovely. The doctors are kind but the manager MAUREEN E. Is HORRIBLE, RUDE AND MEAN TO HER EMPLOYEES."
"I have been waiting on a prescription that I needed for the past 4 days. After being told that the prescription was sent I went to the pharmacy only to be told they had no prescription. I reached back out to the doctor via the Mount Sinai app and was told to give the doctor 48 hours. Being that I had not heard again from the doctor’s office I called the pharmacy and was told the prescription could not be released! I then in turn called the doctor’s office. After waiting on hold for at least 5 minutes a woman picked up only for the call to get disconnected. I then called again and once again after waiting over 5 minutes I get the rudest customer service representative by the name of Tracy who told me she could not do anything until I went into the app and changed the pharmacy! I never had this problem before. She got nasty after I explained this to her and kept trying to cut me off to the point of then putting me through to the survey. The gall of this individual to think she can treat a patient this way is beyond disgraceful! I tried calling back asking for a supervisor only to get her again and being put on hold and left on hold. This individual needs to never pick up a phone call again!"
"I recently took my Husband to visit his primary care doctor for a Urine test as I suspected he got a UTI. He left a sample as instructed by the Doctor on 12/18 and not only did he not get the results as of 12/22 but the Doctor does not know why and in my opinion shows no urgency to find out what happened with the test. On a previous visit, December 4 I was told that my husband never left a Urine Sample yet 2 entire weeks later there were results in MyChart. I don't know what is going on at this Mt. Sinai but this is no way to run an office. No patient should have to chase a practice to get a Urine Culture back in a timely fashion. This facility used to be great, but I feel it has gone downhill and the patients suffer. There needs to be some accountability for this type of incompetency"
"Dr. Emily N Fatakhov MD took the time to listened to my concerns and aliments I've gone to many doctors and felt defended over my chronic joint pain. I've always left offices feeling unheard or unseen this wasn't the case with Dr, Fatakhov. she took her time to listen and explained my condition and set a game plan in motion to help me find some relief. her bed side manner and tone were kind the staff was friendly and the wait time was excellent, convenient office right by the train. I recommend her for any of your rehabilitation needs."
"I am having severe, excruciating back pain. One of my doctors wanted me to have an X-ray of my pelvis to rule out sacroiliac joint dysfunction- as I am scheduled to have surgery and we are trying to avoid that. This location will not allow me to have an X-ray here because my provider is not in the building. Such a stupid rule, it makes sick patients have to call multiple people and travel all over the place to get care. The operators don't even have access to other Mount Sinai location schedules- so it's nearly impossible for me to find the easiest place to get to get the imaging done.I willl the one I spoke with was SO helpful but his hands were tied!)Why am I the one going out to my way so my doctor can see the image fast enough? This system is really not patient centered and makes me want to avoid Mount Sinai..."
