"I liked going to Dr Shum until he ordered a bunch of lab tests that i did not request (i requested routine tests) to a lab not under my insurance, told me he would take care of the nearly $300 bill that came, and then never took care of it after months of followups. I ended up paying so I wouldn't go into collections. $300 is a lot of money and tests shouldn’t be sent to labs that are not in network, regardless of the deductible. it is the first time ive had to do that for routine yearly exams"
