"I have gone to a few visits at this location for me and my son, and I have always felt that the some of the staff here (not all) did minimal work each interaction, but my last visit was definitely a deciding factor to why I will never go there again. I showed up to the doctors office sick…the nurse and my doctor for that visit did NOT like that.. they were quick to jump to the conclusion that I had COVID given my symptoms.. but most symptoms can easily make any illness a COVID symptom. While I was in the waiting room I heard the staff arguing about whether they should cancel my visit because I booked the appointment on the day off, and they think “COVID” patients should come in on “Monday’s.” Obviously they didn’t have a good enough reason for them to cancel my appointment, so the nurse called me in. She was wearing rubber gloves and a mask and she said 6 feet away from me. She was around my age, in her mid twenties, but definitely petty and immature. She made me check my own temperature and stayed away from me. It’s 2024, I hope that she either drives in, or doesn’t take the N train at the broadway station or is not amongst crowed with the way that she was acting. If she’s a germaphobe, and she’s THAT scared to be around sick patients she shouldn’t be a nurse.. I’m a first responder myself, there was no reason for her to act the way she did. There is wearing protective gear, and then there’s just being rude and petty. The doctor came in and spoke with me about my symptoms and only wanted to order me a COVID test, I asked for more nose swab tests because I did not believe that I had COVID. The doctor said that she will order me one more test but she’s SURE it’s COVID. The nurse came back in, stood by the door, with her mask and gloves on then she extends her arm out and asks me if I wanted to swab my own nose for the test. She made me feel like I was a dirty person for simply being sick. The results came back negative for both tests, I asked the doctor if we can do further testing, and she said that it’s probably just some virus and to take Tylenol. Within those few days my symptoms got worse and I felt that I’ve wasted my time going to that location. I have not argued with them, or even mentioned to them that I thought their behavior was immature and inappropriate. I just thought to myself that I’m never going back to this location, especially with my son, and it’s better to leave a review."
"Visited ACP for the first time today. all of the receptionists, nurses, and the doctor I met today were caring and kind."
"Horrible ! My dr moved there from manhattan site and it turned out to be the worst location yet . They do not relay messages to Dr at all ! They want to speak on doctors behave when they have no clue what they are doing ! This never occurred at the Manhattan site ever when dr was there ."
"They do not offer COVID 19 vaccines for infants! We otherwise love our pediatrician and have had great experiences but we’ll need to change doctors as they don’t offer this vaccine. I’ve tried calling their hotline, emailing corporate, reaching out via social media and no one will answer why they won’t offer this essential vaccine. Disappointing."
"This facility needs an obgyn. I have to take my wife far just to see one. They had one before but she left. I'm adding: Advantage Care needs a better system to book appointments. I don't blame the then professionals who are working there. Everyone I try to get an appointment it is always full or two months later. But if you visit the facility there is no one there. Adding on 7/28/23 They are making you sign 2 optional docs. They won't tell you it is optional one is related to billing and the other missed appointment fee."
