"07/13/2024 went to Emergency room to make sure my toe wasn't broken, spent 5 hours there to get an X-ray, which I didn't have any complaints with at that time, have been told "it doesn't look like there's a fracture but if we find one we will call you". Have been discharged without any treatment. Next day they did call me to let me know I have multiple fractures, they said you should see your X-ray in my Chart, okay. "We will follow up with you regarding the fracture. " Nobody ever called me . I login in to my Chart, X-ray is not loading but the impression is there and a note to follow up with podiatrist . How can I without an X-ray images? Called them a million times , went with a broken toe to an emergency room, they said Mount Sinai doesn't release X-ray images but somehow I'm supposed to "treat" my fractures without an X-ray that I've spent 5 hours on and I'm supposed to require a "Medical record" that can take 5 business days to get . So I've spent 5 hours in the emergency room and has been discharged with No treatment Nor X-rays . After 4 days I magically saw my X-rays in my Chart. I was able to see the fractures myself idk how the doc there couldn't see it . 5 days later I saw a podiatrist that finally provided me with proper treatment that I scheduled myself. Still don't understand what is the problem with releasing X-ray images to the patients right away if I can see my own fractures and doctors who work there cannot? Or at least release the images so I can see a specialist who CAN treat my leg. With any other hospital I didn't have that issue."
"Every second of my emergency visit was 5 stars! Mohhamed checked me in and immediately was able to take me to the emergency triage area after he checked me in. Not long after Dr. Chaudhry saw me and got to work on my infected foot. Mimi another nurse, was magical with the needles and very pleasant and patient. I was in and out in 3 hours which is incredible! If you have an emergency, don’t hesitate to visit this ER."
"Stay away, Nursing at the emergency room are rude and dont care about patients or patients pain. There is a nurse name Sanita, very rude and slow. we waited in the emergency room for 12 hrs without offering any meals to the patient. They admitted the patient saying they will run more exams, and they discharge the pt in morning without doing anything more than what they did at the ER. It's all about money/ business."
"Worst-ever experience never seen an emergency room like this. I think even animal get much better treatment & care if they go to see doctor. Been there for more then 4 hours just took my vital put me on a wheelchair that's it. Talked with nurse her behaviour was soo rude and arrogant so upset about it. I was thinking am I in the New York or on a in low gross city in the world. Shame on you guys."
"Yes, if you are not dying then you will wait for a long time. People need to be patient and realize this. It's an emergency room in New York City for goodness sake. I was there nearly 9 hours. Yes, it was boring but the entire staff was friendly, efficient, and patient. The hospital is clean and extremely organized, despite how crowded it can get. Now I'm just hoping I don't get charged an arm and a leg for everything. If I do then this review will be updated! haha"
