"I am the granddaughter of Dr. Milchtein's patient. My grandmother, who lives with me, broke her hip and underwent surgery. Upon arriving at the ER, and other times during her ER and hospital stay, I reached out to Dr. Milchtein several times. Not a single returned call from Dr. Milchtein. After being discharged from the hospital and entering a Rehab facility, I continued to try to make contact with Dr. Milchtein. Never called back. Upon her discharge from the Rehab facility (a month after her surgery), I was urged by the Rehab staff to get in touch with her Primary Care Dr. I explained to them that her PCD just simply did not care to contact her - not to see how she was doing or at very least review her medication list."
"I have taken ALL 3 of my children- who are now teens, 15 yo twins and almost 20 yo daughter to Dr. Milchtein for around 5 or more years now. She always performs holistic exams- not just clinical. She asks them about school and what they are eating and drinking. She asks them about physical activity. She follows-up on blood work ordered. When they became teens - she asked THEM if they wanted me to stay in the room for the exam. My older daughter now goes to see her alone. In addition when there have been issues like needing a quick note to sit out of sports due to Spring allergies or referral- I have received these things with no issues. I am a clinician myself and I am very pleased with the thorough and age appropriate exams she performs ensuring that my children learn to take responsibility for their own health."
"Horrible experience with Dr. Milchtein. My mother told the doctor that she was experiencing gastrointestinal discomfort. Dr. Milchtein told her that she probably had food poisoning and dismissed her complaints. We found out from another doctor that my mother had 4th stage stomach cancer. Dr. Milchtein is an awful doctor. She wouldn't even make a recommendation for my mother to see a specialist!!!!!!!!! She cavalierly dismissed older people's health problems. Shame on you, Dr. Milchtein!"
"Dr. Ekaterina Milchtein is a great Dr she takes her time with you and explain everything that is going on with you. I have been a patient of Dr Santry and Butari before they changed over and by far Ekaterina Milchtein, MD is great."
"I was originally a patient of Dr. Tsamparlis, this practice has completely gone downhill since he left. My first visit with Dr. Milchtein I requested a refill of Chantix (originally prescribed by Dr. Tsamparlis) to quit smoking and was told "you have smoked for 33 years what difference does another year make, you just have to try harder to quit cold". Just called now to request a prescription for antibiotics, first told Dr. is on vacation until new year so asked wasn't anyone covering for her, they think so not sure, then it became you would need to come in for an appointment, and ultimately no, not an appointment you would have to go to ER or Urgent Care. For a prescription, antibiotics. During a surge in COVID. This is not a place that cares for people as humans anymore."
