"Visited for an injury sustained a few weeks ago, due to persistent pain. I could hear Dr. Fond outside the exam room saying, "...I'll just be 2 minutes". And he was accurate. He spent about 2 minutes with me and quite honestly, made me feel like he thought I was being overdramatic. He was dismissive and flippant. "Well, I'll order an MRI to ease your mind." Although I have had great experiences in this office and with other doctors, I will avoid Dr. Fond. Even if he assumed that my injury, in his opinion, was minor, the patient shouldn't be made to feel that they are being a hypochondriac. Typically, I am the person who won't go to a doctor unless something is BAD, only to hear: Why did you wait so long? I have an extremely high pain tolerance. I am in pain. I know my body. And this guy made me feel 2 inches tall."
