"A family member waited almost 2 hours for CVS to inform them they didn’t have the medication that was called in by doctor’s office. Barth’s Pharmacy had the medication, and filled the prescription 5 minutes before they were closing. Can’t thank the staff enough at Barth’s Pharmacy for being understanding and for promptly filling prescription."

"The women at the counter wasn't very pleasant I was picking up a family members prescription who has recently been diagnosed with cancer this was the 3rd pharmacy since 2 place already said no due to it having to be compunded was not covered under insurance I showed a discount card they told me they don't accept them. So you don't help patients who can't afford the medication? I have been in the pharmacy business for over 15 years never told a patient we don't accept assistance"

"This is the third issue I've had with this pharmacy. The first time they gave my prescription to a family member by accident because we had the same last name, the second time they refused to verify my son's insurance because their computer said it was incorrectly marked invalid ( all it took was one phone call to find out that it WAS valid), and now I come to find out that they charge insurances for medications that aren't picked up or are accidentally prescribed. This means there is a good chance that anyone who went here has had their insurance charged for medications that were either never picked up, accidentally prescribed, accidentally sent, or not needed. My doctor sent my meds to this pharmacy initially despite requesting a different pharmacy. My doctor's office corrected their mistake but I was unable to pick it up because Barth's had already charged my insurance for it. These are prepackaged meds that don't need to be mixed or "filled". Barth's explanation to me was that "this is how it's done" and when they print the label it's automatically charged to the insurance, which is at least half incorrect because because other pharmacies don't operate like this. I'd rather go back to rite aid and wait in line for an hour knowing that my prescription will be available rather than have a pharmacy like this continue to take advantage of my insurance. Actions like this are one of the reason why insurance premiums are so high. I highly suggest people reach out to their insurance companies and request itemized bills or statements to find out how much money pharmacies are scamming your insurance company for."

"I was referred to this pharmacy by another that could not provide a compounded medicine for my dog. I talked to them on the phone and made arrangements with my Vet to provide a script for them. I talked to them twice and they provided a reasonable price. Then a couple of days later I looked at my credit card online and noticed they had charged me almost twice of what they had told me before. The only reason I went to them was to see if I could save money as compared to what the vet was charging for the same medicine. They wanted to charge me twice as much as what the vet did. In addition they were very rude when I tried to resolve the issue with them and hung up on me. I had to resolve the issue through my credit card fraud department."
