"Rx is absolutely insane. Something happened 1-2 years ago and they stopped refilling my monthly prescriptions automatically and stopped getting in touch with the doctor if a new refill is needed. It’s a nightmare now. I never know now when there are no refills left unless I specifically ask about it. also, I recently learned that every time a new refill is sent the auto refill is canceled and the prescription doesn’t refill automatically next month, the pharmacy technician has to manually enable the auto refill. And they enable it only if I ask. I have several rx medications and it’s hard to keep track when they are out of refills. The RX technicians now seem very uninterested in their job. I miss Sharmine. She was so attentive and personal and was always on top of things. I have to constantly ask about my refills now and tell my doctors send refills constantly. There were a few times when I was very close to not refilling my essential medications and at risk of missing a dose. And the RX lines are ridiculously long. I’m thinking of switching to CVS near my work permanently as I have a couple of meds that are sent there and I never have problems like this there."

"I am amending this review to say there is one pharmacist, Elida (I hope I spelled that right) who is lovely and goes above and beyond to help, which is especially commendable given that the rest of the Walgreens Rx business is a nightmare. She was very helpful today when my Rx was cancelled for no reason. It doesn't make up for the rest of the system being awful, and I hope she finds a job somewhere else that treats people better. After 4 1/2 hours of trying to get my heart medication delivered I finally transferred it to Konwaler pharmacy and after a couple quick friendly calls, they brought it over. Just go to Cohen Waller. They’re lovely, Friendly, helpful, organized. Their generic brand products are actually reasonably priced. They charge half as much for asthma inhalers as Walgreens. Half. meanwhile, at this, Walgreens, I placed an order online yesterday to have medication delivered yesterday Because the pharmacist told me that they couldn’t accept an order for delivery, unless it was made online. Three hours later I get a text saying that my order is canceled and call the pharmacy. The pharmacy says that I canceled the order. I did not. But more importantly, I needed my medication. They told me I could only get a delivery if I placed the order online. I could not place the order online because, the app said that my order was out for delivery and I couldn’t get the prescription filled twice twice. I tried explaining this in the pharmacist. So I called the Walgreens main customer service number seven times over two hours and no one could tell me when I would be getting my medication. I spent another 45 minutes, trying to speak to the Walgreens central this morning, then contacted the pharmacy who told me that I had never placed an order online. ??? How would I receive a text saying that my order was canceled if I never placed an order? And suddenly they were able to cancel the original order for me and refill the prescription, they wouldn’t explain why they couldn’t have just done this yesterday evening, but they said the only way for me to get it delivered would be to reply to a text. And I never got the text. And since they couldn’t figure out how to get the text sent to me they suggested that I come in person to get it, I was getting it delivered because I physically can’t get there. Shouldn’t it be the responsibility of a Walgreens employee to figure out how to make the Walgreens system work? Anyway, I’m more than happy to be giving Konwaler more business."

"This is a great Walgreens. It's always well stocked, and clean. The pharmacy staff is really nice and helpful, much more like a small independent pharmacy than a big chain. There's usually a line and what makes that annoying is all the people complaining...but the staff is nice and always handle it well."

"The worst Pharmacy. Every time i have to pick up a prescription from here it’s always a nightmare. They always take hours to fill a prescription, you always have to call ahead to make sure they are actually going to fill the prescription. Once you go pick up your prescription they still have you wait for a minimum of 20mins on top of already waiting hours for them to work on the order. It’s insane. Let alone that they sometimes tell you that the prescription is going to be ready in a few hours but they actually don’t even bother checking on the status. So for example one time they never received the request from the doctor so after waiting until 4pm they eventually told me they didn’t have the prescription. The doctor office was closed at that point and wasn’t able to get mi medicine the day that i needed it the most. They are inefficient, under qualified and just do not care. Go to Ballards pharmacy instead, they are an honest and super efficient small business and they go above and beyond to make sure you get everything you need."

"Today I stopped by this location and the cashier or associate took way too much time with the previous customer and there were only a few persons at the store so i prefer to leave my stuff on the counter because it seems that instead of trying to attend faster to help other customers while she got help from the other associate she stays saying the same thing to that customer and not helping nobody else imagine if the store is pack."
