"Stopped in the shop the last time I was in the city. It Had a wonderful array of food and merch. But the best part was the SERVICE. The gentleman that helped me was knowledgeable of everything in the store and gave me exceptional service. Prices were a bit high for some ,but when you have a good employee they can sell anything."

"Wonderful little neighborhood store with good selection of goods. Overall happy with what they carry and most of my interactions. There is however one employee who repeatedly goes out of his way to channel the feeling of a morgue; cold, repressive and overall offended by your entire presence. I’ve never felt so unwelcome; so bothersome and so small. The delightful smells of the shop are lost in the emptiness this person manifests. I won’t be back and I’m bummed. The burritos are good."

From my morning coffee and Sunday baguette to their delightful curated grocery and shop of local and small business creations, Willoughby General was my go to when living on Willoughby Ave. The owners are locals who truly care about what goes into and comes out of the shop and stand up for the neighborhood itself. Cool vintage finds, local artisan products and goods, delicious snacks and takeaways plus lots of neighborhood information and connection to local organizations. MISS YOU WG!!!"

"This wonderful community gem is like taking a step into a whole other world! It’s so refreshing to have a general store in BedStuy where all the things are hand picked. The items are all so well curated. The owner is such good company, I have seen her many times running the shop like a boss babe! Always great to see owners who are actively involved in the betterment of the neighborhood! I love grabbing gifts and cool food items here. From gummies to popcorn to matches to earrings and cocktail items, this place has ya covered! The ready-made food is top notch! I crave so many of the different yummmmms throughout the week!
