"Worst experience with a doctor's office. It was our first time at the office. When I asked if we would ever "meet" the doctor, the reception area laughed and said, "no, he doesn't come to this office". When we met the PA, she advised that he only sees patients that are signing up for his "weight loss" clinic and products - and that it was very expensive. We would have to make a separate appointment for that specifically. We were looking for a GP, the PA was not knowledgeable at all about any questions I asked. No one could even provide info on the "weight loss" aspect of the practice - unless you make another appointment to see him. Needless to say, I got home and we changed doctors. Very disappointed."
"I had an annual check up appointment for 7:30 this morning (4/2/2018). (This appointment was scheduled last year at my last annual appointment). On Friday (3/30/2018), I recieved an email from Dr. Hughes office confirming my appointment for today. Upon arrival, the receptionist was not able to find my appointment in their system. She stated that they merged with a larger physician group and that my appointment was probably in their old system. I was then advised she could schedule me a new appointment for a future date. I will not be returning to Dr. Hughes' office in the future. This is not the first issue with accessibility that I have had. I had an unjury to my shoulder. Dr. Hughes wrote a script for physical therapy. Upon visiting therapy, the therapist was dumbfounded that I was not prescribed any medication for my injury. He stated that my injury likely would take much longer to heal without medication for treatment. It took nearly 30 days for Dr. Hughes office to fill the script the therapist recommended. Remember, Doctors offices are businesses too. Don't waste your time with this office, there are plenty of options from other great doctors that actually want your business."
