"I had a very good experience with Dr Violente. At our first meeting he was incredibly thorough at explaining my problem and how he could help me. The prep leading up to surgery was very informative and the exercises helped with a quick recovery. I had a total hip replacement. By the end of the first week I was walking easily, with a walker. The first 4 days were uncomfortable, but it was expected . By week 2 I was walking unassisted, with zero pain, and only a slight limp. I felt strong and stable until 6 weeks post op. When I called with concerns that perhaps I dislocated something bc I was feeling so good that I was much too active, too soon, they quickly got me in to see Laurie Kotowskiery, Dr Violente's PA, who was wonderful, kind, compassionate and very supportive, After a thorough examination and imaging, it turns out that my hip was perfect, but I have spinal stenosis and a pinched sciatica nerve that was causing problems. At 12 weeks post op I am back to doing yoga 5 days a week with full range of motion. My scar is barely noticeable. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Violente and His PA Laurie. I feel thankful for their skills, thorough exams, their caring bed side manner. I haven't received such excellent care, in over a decade. Also, the office is clean and I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes."
