"Amy is great. She takes good care of my needs and keeps up on my medicine."
"Been my doc since I was a little kid and could not be happier with the experience whether it be her amazing bedside manner and kindness or the staffs ability to get you in during an emergency and help finding insurance no better place to find a gp."

"Amy is always very kind and attentive. She refers to my past concerns and asks how I am doing with them. There was an intern, Jill, who was also very friendly and kind."
"I had Amy Lord as my PCP since I moved to Newark Valley when I was 6. Fast forward to 8/11/2022, I was involved in a motorcycle accident rendering me paralyzed as a result of a spinal cord injury. To try to summarize it best, Amy abandoned me because I was no longer a 160 lb fit healthy individual consisting of a "routine checkup". The UHS hospital in Johnson City was terrible for my recovery. They put a feeding tube in me and were feeding me liquids that were incorrect, for individuals on dialysis. I was clearly marked as allergic to penicillin and they gave me that causing my throat to swell up. They strong armed my parents into putting a trach in my throat which paralyzed one of my vocal cords leaving me only able to whisper at best/loudest. Once removed over a year later, I regained 90% of my voice back. That hospital also didn't roll me every 2 hours so I developed large pressures sores that I am now almost 2 years later, being bed ridden for a month (recovering) from finally receiving a skin graft surgery from the expert Dr. Huntsman in Cooperstown. I had to leave AMA from UHS Wilson due to many reasons of maltreatment, some not being specified here because there's so much that went wrong. The Drs there tried scaring me to stay. We had to call the police for them to finally let me leave AMA to Lourdes. Anyways, when I went home 6 months after my injuries, Amy refused to sign off on homecare for me. Leaving me helpless with just my Mom to do everything. Luckily my Mom worked for KCI for 7 years so she knew how to do wound dressings with the Activac on my pressure sores. We didn't know what to do though beyond that, because I still needed a PCP to prescribe my medication among other things. I called Endwell Family Physicians and Trashell took me on with ease in a heartbeat. My medical care was saved because of her, and I'm her first spinal cord injury paralyzed patient. Ill never forget the first appt where she said I don't scare her... She will do anything to help. Now I'm set up with a SCI expert Dr. Gibbs in Syracuse, along with SCI Urologist expert Dr. Blakely, and setup with PT & OT twice a week at Upstate Syracuse with experts experienced with my type of injury. I cannot believe how much it hurt me initially that literally all she could say is she can no longer help me and said I'd be better fit elsewhere, giving me no referral elsewhere, nothing. Despite me being paralyzed, whispering from a trach, in pain from wounds their hospital caused. I had to go to a hospital once after being home, and chose/went to Upstate Syracuse. The experience was completely different and what I needed. Ill never go back to UHS Wilson again. And honestly. She should feel terrible for the position she abandoned me in. It initially hurt but now that I got the right PCP and I'm set up (have been referred) to all the experts I need, I am very much happy I'm with a PCP that does what a PCP should be doing in this field... which is looking out for and caring for patients to the best of their ability. 2 calls and I was left hung to dry by Amy. I thank God and my new PCP that I have the experts I need because its been pivotal to my care. I can talk again. I'm recovering from my wounds right now via a skin graft surgery, where I'll be able to do a lot more physically as a result. Not thanks to Amy though. I am doing better despite the adversity because me and my family had no other choice. And thanks for never calling to check up on me, not once since. If you want a PCP you can rely on through any health/medical scenario, I would look elsewhere than getting care from Amy Lord."
