"Thanks for receiving the ship. I myself rode on DD 500 Ringgold in the German Navy. German name D 171 Destroyer 2. My time on board 1978-1981 Engineroom"
"This is a nice ship. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This is a light cruiser and the only ship in the navy named after a group of people, the Sullivan brothers, who were brothers killed in combat during WWII. The below deck area of this ship was temporarily closed for maintenance when I was there, but the main and upper decks were open. The main deck has a couple of large guns, and you can go inside one of them to see how they were loaded. The upper deck of this ship has a bridge and a couple of machine guns attached to swivel seats, one of which you can sit on. I gave this ship five stars because it’s a well preserved ship and I found it really interesting to see how the inside of a large gun worked."
"Superbly restored ship in a lovely part of the town. I haven’t visited in years and it was an absolute joy. Good job, boys"
"I went before it was opened, on my way to niagara falls. I saw the battleship from the highway and had to stop. It was the first time this Missourian had seen anything of the sort in person. It was incredible, and it made for the perfect pitstop."
"Great place to visit. Walking through the ship, learning the history see how it lived is extremely interesting. Highly recommend a visit. Kids live exploring the ship too"
