Reviews
"I recently visited the Lockport Farmers Market and was impressed with the local produce and community spirit. To make the market even more engaging and welcoming, it would be great to see more adaptation to digital tools, such as an online presence or app for easier updates and transactions. Additionally, expanding support to include a more diverse range of entrepreneurs beyond just farmers could enhance the market's appeal. By incorporating different types of vendors and interactive elements, the market could become a vibrant destination that people want to return to and share with friends and family."
"Great place to find locally grown food/produce and other local crafts."
"Excellent food market, may favorites are local roots for my organic salad mixes and Herbalty Cottage for my olive oils and balsamic."
"Farmers markets support emotional health by creating a cheerful space where people come together for laughter, fellowship, food, and fun. Not only do patrons shop for farm fresh food, but they also engage in conversation, meet neighbors for lunch, and enjoy the festive atmosphere with family and friends. Research indicates people thrive and are naturally happier when socially connected."
"Located on the north side of the Erie Canal, right above the locks, on car-less Canal Street. It's out in the open and unshaded (vendors are in tents), so wear your sunglasses! SteamWorks coffee and Lake Effect ice cream is there too, if you need to duck out of the sun. It's also along the Canal Bicycle Path too. Lots of vendors of perishable and non-perishable items. Go get some goodies!"
