"Concrete broken and cracked allowing water into a below ground garage. They wanted 1600.00 to repair the concrete. Instead, they placed a bead of of calk and called it fixed. They already had 800.00 as a down payment. No one ever came to check on our complaint; they kept the down payment and we never heard back. That is the company we dealt with."

"The Powell Company has done many projects for me, and - let me make this crystal clear - EVERY SINGLE ONE has been done professionally, with excellent build quality, one-time, and within budget. Need I say more? For you skeptics, I'll include as many pictures of the last project as Google will let me. This project was supposed to be a simple porch deck replacement. Once Issac, Roger, and Tom started pulling up the deck boards, they knew there were more problems. As it turned out, the framing of the porch, as well as the supports for the second floor porch were SEVERELY compromised - they hardly had to use a saw to rip it all out. The entire first floor porch was torn out, the second floor porch supported by bird's-mouth supports, all base anchors and supports removed, new sonotube concrete bases installed, perfectly cut 8x8 pressure treated supports for the second floor porch installed, all new pressure treated framing installed, pine tongue and groove decking installed, zip board exterior installed, and I'm sure I'm forgetting many more things that were done. They made a minimal impact on the landscaping, had the job done within the original time frame - even though the project expanded easily by a factor of 5 - and still provided an enormous amount of work for a very reasonable price. I can't recommend this company enough!!!!!!"
