Reviews
"Truly amazed at the research center above the museum!! It’s so fascinating; all the historical photos, articles and books they have from the 1800s. I went the other day to check out old pictures of West Onondaga Street and all the Victorian mansions they used to have before they were demolished. Extremely sad the city let that street fall into such disrepair, but it was extremely interesting to learn about the cities past! Thanks for your help Marie!"
"The museum is amazing, but the Come in from the Cold exhibit warmed my heart. I just loved this exhibit, it was everything I was hoping for when I saw it advertised! Great job with the displays, the accompanying photos and historical information! Loved this. So many great displays there to see but this was one I am glad I didn't miss!"
"Had a great time visiting this museum. Enormous educational materials, and I found the projector show on the underground railroad to be very informational. Matt is very helpful. Definitely an underrated gem"
"Stopped here after getting jerk chicken from Jamaica Cuse, a few blocks away. Friendly staff and pretty rad things to see there. When you visit the gift shop, be sure to pay $30 and become a member. You'll get their publications mailed to you and have a discount when you shop for friends and family at the holidays. They've got some pretty rad Salt City shirts and puzzles and toys and books for kiddos."
"Outstanding history and exhibits. Matt was awesome and so friendly. The gift shop has so many awesome Syracuse things. Worth the visit."
