"The service at Pastabilities is wonderful. We were seated right away and without a wait. Our servers were very nice and had good manners, for example calling us Sir and Madam. The appetizer arrived quickly and we enjoyed the bread and tomato oil. Our entrees were very generous and delicious. I definitely recommend this place."

"Pastabilities has a very cool vibe in an old warehouse building as well as outside seating. Service was top notch and the food was delicious! My chicken riggies were tender with the right amount of heat. The calamari was out standing! And the pesto was wonderful. They start you out with their own fresh made bread and a hot and spicy dipping sauce free that was worth the trip alone!!"

"Hot tomato oil!!!!! Delicious spicy and savory sauce/dipping oil. They use in various ways as a bead dip mixed with tomato sauce or as a pasta sauce with or without tomato sauce. They make their own outstanding pasta on premises….nothing better than fresh pastas. Bread is similarly made on site at the restaurant owned bread bakery across the street making their “stretch” bread and dip even better. The bread/dip is included with table service and addictive. Salads are very good made with high quality ingredients. Sufficient drink menu with wine, booze and beer offerings. The service is exceptional including the wait and support staff. This pasta restaurant is my go to whenever in or anywhere near Syracuse."

"My husband and I came here Sunday for the first time to celebrate our 16 year anniversary. I am not sure if we just chose the wrong day to come or what happened but my experience was not a good one like majority of the reviews. To start the bread was cold, not sure if that’s normal but not a big deal. The spicy dipping sauce was good and that was warm. We ordered the Calamari, I was not impressed. It was seasoned ok but the calamari was very soft, almost like it was undercooked, and very few tentacles which I definitely prefer but that’s not a big deal. The bread and calamari came out quickly which was good. Our meals took quite a bit longer, we were fine with that. My husband ordered the lasagna which I also tried a bite of his. It was very firm, like a solid piece. The top was extremely hard to even cut into, he had to use a knife to cut it. That would’ve been ok if it was atleast good, but it basically just tasted like sausage, again not impressed. I ordered the short rib stroganoff. It looked really good but it wasn’t very flavorful and the noodles were very chewy and sort of hard. I did ask for different noodles thinking they maybe weren’t cooked enough, they brought out new ones that were slightly better but still chewy (I was told it’s normal because it’s homemade pasta) but the sauce for the new plate of noodles was very thin as if they didn’t drain the noodles properly before adding them to the sauce. The meat was fine, I did eat that. We were going to get dessert but I didn’t want to chance not liking that either."

"It is so good every time we come here! Decided to try their seasonal entrees and I got the short rib stroganoff. It was incredibly delicious - so full of flavor. My boyfriend got the homemade ravioli with meatballs. Probably the best ravioli and meatballs I’ve had. The drinks were really good and strong! Our server was so nice and friendly. Super attentive. The vibes were great, very intimate and perfect for date night."
