Reviews
"OCPL Central Library is amazing!! Helpful staff, gigantic selection of all types of books, cds and dvds, plenty of activity space to read or study, clean restrooms!!"
"The downtown library is a wonderful place to spend some time."
"I've worked at the Galleries for a few years now, and the best place (besides where I work) has to be little Cristo's Cafe. A wonderful little coffee and sandwich shop with daily specials, run by the most lovely couple. Go there for no other reason than to enjoy that place. TCGplayer also has a very cool office space with windows to look into their theme rooms. It's not open to the public, but prior to COVID it was open for scheduled tours. Other than the library (which deserves its own review) there's not much else here except some offices. Oh, and there's an abandoned movie theater in the basement. Spooky stuff, but interesting! Overall, 4 Stars for Cristo's and TCGplayer, and the cool glass atrium."
"It has some decent things about it. The architect needs some props for how beautiful the place looks, however, whichever company is working on the building needs to utilize and change signs accordingly. The map at the front isn't accurate. The inside entrance to the library is gone. TCG Player isn't on the second floor, and if it is it was so well hidden for even two people to find. One of the hallways that's still labeled as an exit is long, without signs, the doors at the end weren't labeled and they need to be fixed. I wasn't able to tell if they were emergency exits that would set off an alarm or not. The back entrance from the outside isnt labeled as an entrance. It was like a guessing game on which door led inside. Please, fix the place so it can be as wonderful as it was in its prime."
"The Downtown branch of the Onondaga County Library System. 4-stories accessible to the public. FREE WiFi that does not require library membership to access if you are using your own devices. Floor level can get loud but upper levels are fairly quiet and offer plenty of couches, tables, and chairs to work at."
