"Beautiful place. Not a lot left on the island."
"The first property purchased by the county or open space, 2200 acres. The Paumanok Path runs through it. Peconic Pathfinders is mapping out existing trails, marking and maintaining them for public access. Guided hikes every weekend. Join us on our Guided hikes. Find Peconic Pathfinders on facebook. Bob Beattie."
"Lovely place, will definitely go there again..... One problem: could not find the entrance. There are instructions on the website, but - contrary to them - there is no left turn onto the Old River road! We just parked on the side of the road. Can a ranger or maybe somebody who knows this area please mark the entrance on Google Maps? Thanks...."
"Love checking this view out"
"You can not access this park by Oakwood Drive it is all private property with no public trail entry. Park 1/4 mile away at the corner of River Road and Wading River Manor Road by the white bridge over the Peconic River, plenty of parking with full trail access. Happy hiking!"
