SP+ Parking 480 West 13th Street, Manhattan, New York 10011

"Parking was fine, $35 for under one hour approximately at 8:30 AM. The guy, middle aged parking attendant was extremely unpleasant. First, when I just parked and asked him of the best way to access the High Line park (almost right above the garage ), he pretended to not understand and then - not to speak English.. When I ignored him he kept asking me "what do you mean "High line-in" repeatedly, until we walked away. When we came back to pick up the car - he took my credit card inside his completely boarded booth, was there for a long time and came out with the receipt and no credit card. He ignored my request to return the credit card, went to the car and brought it in front of the gate. He was so obviously reluctant to give me my card back, that my friend said to him "stop threatening us and return the card". The guy went straight to the booth and came out immediately with my card in his hand. I took picture of him, strictly for my personal protection, with my card in hand. He asked if I just took picture of him, I said -yes, and explained, that I feel uncomfortable the way he behaved with my credit card. He told me to get out and never come back to his parking lot - with a minimal accent, very soberly. Needless to say - he never received a generous tip my friend had prepared and held in her hand. The way he handled himself - it was obvious he pulls this kind of stunts with the people's credit cards comfortably and confidently. If I did not have my friend as a witness there - he would have claimed that he already gave me back my credit card and the police would have never been convinced or found the card. I believe that by taking that picture and letting him know that I was onto him - I prevented any other fraudulent operations with my card. Beware."

"I had reserved/pre-paid parking for an event at City Winery last Saturday to be told the lot was full and I'd have to find street parking 45 minutes before the event.....I'm sure someone willing to pay 3 times what I paid was in "my" spot. Needless to say I lost money and time and missed the show. So I contacted SP+ via email as directed in the canned reply and over 4 hours later no reply. PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!"

"It was really easy to park here with prepaid parking! I checked in with the attendant, he took my key and then parked my vehicle, and then when I came back I checked in with him again and he got my car. The lot itself is a bit small, but they are efficient using the space. See my photos to see the entire lot and a bit of the surrounding area. Safe travels!"
