SP+ Parking

"We had an appointment to park the car at 7:00PM. But the had to wait a loooong time to handover the key. After we park the car in there, it was 7:45PM! Also, we were charged $12 for oversize, even we declared the at the online reservation that the car is not over 6ft3in.. So we suggest that if you schedule something to park your car there, don't go this parking lot!!!"

"I parked here twice, and I was quite happy. Made both reservations online with the help of a coupon. My car is bigger than a Honda Civic so I know it’s “oversized.” They had my car ready for me each time before I got there. The second time I was there a minute and a half before the reservation. They didn’t try to charge me for that. They didn’t try to charge me for extra fees. Yes, it is outrageously expensive but the parking meters outside are $.25 for every two minutes. What can you do?"

"Very unhappy. Beware absent-minded people. My car has the feature that you can start it with your key still left in your pocket. So granted I walked off with my key in my pocket, which I'm sure was annoying, and which I can understand would be terrible if the car was off and stalled there and couldn't be moved, or had to be pushed, or towed, or something. But it was not; it was still running and could still be driven. So, (1) he was able to park my car while it was still running (there was no extra work involved than would have been normal), and (2) he did not ask or take the key from me initially. I have to believe there are enough people with this feature these days that (a) they would ask people to hand them the key and (b) when it didn't actually take extra work and didn't cause any problem, wouldn't charge $20 additional (the other guy said he'd have charged me $50 extra). It isn't like they had to push it to the spot. There was Zero extra work and Zero leniency. I can imagine this happens enough that they're making quite a bit of money for this, just like they do when you lose your ticket. Park somewhere else."

"Prepaid for 24 hour overnight parking at this SP+ location near the Warwick hotel where I was staying. No issues and Juan the attendant was excellent. He was the only one on staff when I dropped off on Saturday and picked up on Sunday so you have have a little bit of a wait for drop off or pick up but for $40 prepaid parking for 24 hours this place is a great deal. They may have more attendants during the week peak hours. Definitely would park here again."

"NYC parking tax is 18.375% shown on the price rate. Tax is high. Up to 24hr costs $46 incld. tax. This site is less expensive compared nearby. The staff are polite and friendly. Will come again."
