"I was losing my hair. Even though I’m no longer young, I still wanted a nice hair style without noticeable bare spots. I decided to take advantage of a free consultation at Hair Club of Staten Island. (They serve both women and men). What an eye opener! Judy, the consultant, was calm and pleasant and so welcoming. She explained the entire process, the cost and patiently answered my hundreds of questions. When I left, I was pretty sure I would sign up for treatment. It took me a few months to bring myself to commit - it is a daily process at home and 9 monthly visits to the Hair Club location. I finally began in November 2017. Nelly was my stylist and Jessica was my colorist. They were both great, knowledgeable, competent and extremely lovely women. Then Meghan came back from leave and my appointments became a party. I couldn’t wait for each month’s visit. Meghan is upbeat, adorable, fun, talented and interested only in the client’s comfort. We’ve had a great time at each appointment. I’m truly sad that my treatment time is coming to an end. I am actually considering using Hair Club as my regular salon. And they have free Wi-Fi. And the best part, MY HAIR IS GROWING IN!! She knows exactly what to do with my hair to make it last until my next appointment, she gives the best blow outs and treats you like a friend.
