"The first time I had a foot massage and a full body massage it was good, then I had a full 90 min massage, which was beyond painful and a real TORTURE, it was not enjoyable at all, I told the guy that it was painful and he laughed so needles to say the 90 minutes were a very tense and painful experience, I would suggest you remember the person you had a good massage so you avoid the less good massage person. At checkout it was 90$, I didn’t like how the woman demanded I leave 20% tip ( 20 $ extra dollars) is that normal to demand it when the massage was horrible ? Isn’t it to the client to choose to leave tip? Overall bad experience this time and expensive for a bad painful 90 minutes"
"I got a 30 min massage by Neo he was amazing and assured that I was comfortable the whole time. This is definitely not a luxury place it smelled a little weird going down stairs but in the massage rooms I couldn't smell it. But you can't beat the price it was $35 for 30 min massage on the lay down table! I just gave 4 star because of the smell and he kept on sniffling kind of loud and burped once lol but he still did a great job! Maybe it's just a cultural thing."
"I can't begin to describe my 1hr massage. I am very pleased with the professionalism and quality of service. I only wish that I lived here so I may have go to them more often. I will be visiting them next time I am in NYC!"
"ALL FAKE REVIEWS! Don’t trust the reviews because they give you a discount if you give them 5 stars in front of them. They massage you without any care, just randomly touching and now my back is in way more pain. Furthermore, they were laughing and speaking Chinese the whole time among them and one does not have to be very smart to understand they were laughing about us. Not professional and mean persons. And, prepare to be harassed if you tip them less than 20%. Also be ready for an extra 5$ if you pay with card which they don’t tell you upfront. RUN AWAY AND DON’T EVEN ENTER"
"I was torn about whether to even write this review. On one hand, I support local businesses and this is definitely one I will return to again. On the other hand, I also selfishly do not want it to become so popular I can't get an appointment! In the end, my sense of altruism won out lol. I just moved to the neighborhood from the UWS. I had my own situation and routines there, but it's like a whole new city down here, so I am starting from scratch. One of the staff at Thread (that reminds me, I need to write a review for them too) recommended this place. I popped by on a whim in the middle of the day. I was more than happy to come back if I needed to make an appointment, but they were able to accommodate me right then. I got a 30 minute foot massage and 20 minute neck/shoulder/arm/hand massage from Summer. It was much needed bliss. They have so many other interesting services too. I tried to attach photos of the service menu but kept getting errors. Next time, I'm getting the Head Therapy massage thing. It sounds amazing."
