"Is there any rating lower than one star? My sister is in NYC on vacation and I booked with this hair salon to do highlights. I was told by Rita and Angelo that should be done in a two days process and will be costly so her hair is not damaged . They made sign a waiver form that they are not responsible to what will happen to her hair. After going on two different days of several hours Raj and paying $1000 yes you saw it right one thousand dollars, my sister’s hair is orange. Clearly Rita is not competent or a colorist for that matter and prefers to be paid handsomely for a very poor quality job. I should have known this when they made me sign the waiver. My sister kept on saying she likes it and when I asked her, she said I just wanted to get out from under her hands so she doesn’t damage my hair further. My sisters vacation is totally ruined. Angelo should know this and prevent such experiences as he clearly knows Rita is not a colorist. Follow up on the reply from Angelo’s hair salon. The reply is completely deceiving and untrue. We were never told that the process will require multiple times rather was completed in two times which could have been done in one time like every other hair salon, but I believe the aim was to charge double. So very disappointing that they don’t even apologize for big disappointing business practice. I had to show to my sister that the color was right so I don’t make her feel even worse. The sad thing is you want to provide evidence that we were happy , then if that was true why did I wrote the bad review for you? Simply because this is how I feel about your service and this review is not visible to my sister. She doesn’t know about it. In the first and second bleaching process Rita got bleached big chunks of the hair not covering every section and that’s why her hair color came out with three different colors. Rita herself said that. The reason why I didn’t make a fuss about the service is to save my sister the pain. Rita had no patience to bleach the hair properly and preferred to finish sooner than later or may be she has tired body and cannot work on a long process anymore. You guys are very disappointing. I am very sorry for myself to have come to your Hairsalon"

"I've been going to the salon for almost 20 years… I've lived in three different states and either flew or trained in to get there. Every time I tried somewhere else it just never was quite as good. Angelo is nothing short of an artist And he'll make you laugh while you're sitting in his chair. Rita is amazing and has made my hair color better than it ever looked. They are all talented and go above and beyond to really listen to your needs and deliver incredible results every time"

"Angelo David Salon is the best salon I have ever been to. I recently told Angelo that Rita gave me the best haircut I have ever had in my life. She is just as amazing with color. I am a blonde with fine wavy hair and have found that my hair was either too light or dark and that the cut was never right with my very small forehead. I came to the salon with damaged hair and she has made it beautiful. Angelo shows how caring he is and takes pride in the services that his salon provides. I will never go anywhere else! "I first went to Angelo David Salon the week before my wedding when my long time stylist, colorist and hair extension specialist had to cancel due to a family emergency. So i was desperate and needed a cut, color and hair extensions very last minute. Having worked in beauty PR, specifically with celebrity hair stylists and top salons in NY & LA, I tend to have very high expectations and had heard his name. The team at Angelo David Salon could not have been more professional, accommodating, personable and most importantly sympathetic to my particular situation. That very day they moved schedules around to fit me in for highlights and to match my color for hair extensions. Usually you have to order the hair at least 2 weeks ahead of time but bc of my wedding less than a week away they pulled strings, moved schedules around, etc in order to get the right extensions for me the very next day! Angelo himself personally matched my color, rushed the extensions and not only oversaw all my services but cleared time in his obviously demanding schedule to cut my hair himself. The results were simply stunning… i got compliments and questions everywhere i went. I could not be more thankful for all Angelo and his team did for me… a brand new client they never met before and had no relationship with. My hair could not have been more perfect. I’m forever grateful and would highly recommend them. It was obvious in my results and talking to Angelo his knowledge, talent and expertise is on a level with the very top stylists/ salons - especially hair extensions, wigs, thinning hair, etc. Thank you again to Angelo and the team for all you did for me."
