"Nice wide paved path to walk or bike along the Erie canal. There are benches every mile or so to take a break or to just relax and some have bike racks too. There are small parking lots at the crossroads and they can get busy at peak times. There are no restrooms."
"Great ride! Love taking this trail from Tonawanda to Lockport for bike rides and also stopping for ice cream for uncle Gs. Great walking trail with plenty of nature! Always a great time! Paved, great for dogs and kids. Amazing view of the canal!"
"Paved parking with easy access leading to a nice, newly paved, wide trail leading north and south from this parking area. The southern route is still under construction but will go a long distance when completed. Going north you can stop at the locks in Lockport and watch boats go through from a high vantage point overlooking the canal or close up by walking down a path to the water. My only complaint is not enough places to actually view the canal you are riding next to in this northern section of the trail. I did spot 4 very large wild turkeys strolling along the field while biking there....pretty cool."
