"This is a nicely paved, popular walking path. It is a little narrow when you add bikes, dogs and children on scooters to the mix but most people are friendly and try to be respectful of others. The eastern section is 2 miles and the western section is just a little shy of 2 miles. There are restrooms at both ends of the eastern section, but none on the western section."

"The rail trail is very nice we go almost everyday to rollerblade, bike, jog, and even just for a nice walk. On one end there is the coal house and the other has lots of stores. In the middle there is a park, nature trail, a creek, some restaurants off to the side, and there are also lots of benches to take a rest at along the way."
"I love the Rail Trail! It's the perfect place to walk my dog, and I have even met some very friendly people who also have dogs. More trash cans and benches would be great."
"The trail is a great place to walk, run or bike. There are many running races, for families with young kids there's a playground off of the trail. When the weather is warm you'll see several people on the trail. Enjoy"
