"Great mechanic for Syracuse students! I was recommended to Mike by a Syracuse local while I was in school. He fixed multiple issues with my car: replaced the oil & brakes, repaired and replaced the shocks/coils, replaced wheel bearings, etc. When my parents came to visit me, my dad (a mechanic) approved Mike's work and was surprised at his prices. Mike was also quick. He didn't dally around and was usually outside or at the front office waiting for me to drop my car off so he could get started. I recommend Mike to anyone with car trouble."
"Going here for years, always satisfied, Mike highly proficient, always working, always does first-class work at fair prices. Thoroughly trustworthy."
"easy going, honest guy, he has done great work for us in the past. if you are looking for a fancy shop then look elsewhere. if integrity is more important mike is your man"
"If you are reading my review, then you’ve found one honest and great mechanic in Syracuse. As everyone knows that most of mechanics are crooks. Mike is not one of those. He is a fine mechanic at heart. The story started about the year 2000 when I was a graduate student at Syracuse University. Mike’s repair shop was recommended by a professor in Syracuse to my close friend who in-turn recommended to me. As a student, we had an old car with some problems. One time, a shop on Erie Blvd told to me that my car had an anti-freeze problem and needed for repair. They would charge me $400 to fix. Another occasion was when the AAA repair shop in the Bronx NYC tried to charge $800 for loose engine mounts which they did that during while working on a transmission repair. These people tried to rip me off for $800 to fix it. They were such a crook. Good things I didn’t trust them. Those problems were not exist before getting to their hands. On both occasions I brought the car back to Mike, after he spent some time checking and tested drive, there were nothing wrong with the car besides tightening the nuts. Crazy right! I almost got charged for $800 at the AAA shop in NYC. Mike never charged me anything even though I offered some money for his time. Then after the graduate, I’ve moved far from Syracuse but tried to pay him off in some way for his generosity, so I drove 300 miles to him for some major repair. I just dropped the car off and asked him to fix whatever necessary without asking for repair cost. I would not do this to other mechanics though. I still feel that I owe Mike something even now and that’s why I’m writing this review. A guy like Mike must have tons of true friends. I know he won’t read this but some people will."
"I have been taking my cars there for years. Mike is a no nonsense kind of guy, he tells it like it is and a straight shooter. He has always been extremely fair and done good work . I would recommend him to any of my friends. One catch is he hates working on some foreign cars, which he will colorfully tell you about."
