Knowing they weren't right I went to a local mechanic and found out that the brake pads that Mr Tire advised me were fine were almost non existent and that I needed both rear calipers replaced. If you want piece of mind that your vehicle is safe for you, your family and others on the road ... I strongly suggest you go to anyone else but Mr Tire in Cortland NY."
"I was scheduled for an 11:30 appointment, and I show up to it, only to find out the only employee who can weld had a family emergency and cannot do work on my car that day. I get that life happens but a phone call ahead of time would have been appreciated. Got no phone call. I showed up for nothing because they failed to inform me of the cancellation. By the way, how come only the manager can weld? Shouldn’t welding be a skill that all mechanics have? Oh well, I’ll do business elsewhere."
"Had a noon appointment for a tire swap to summer tires and an oil change. Showed up on time and was informed it would be a minimum of 2 hours. Was told someone called in and another person was at lunch. Yeah…should have realized that at noon, people take lunch. I took the time off from work and wasn’t waiting 2+ hours. This is the second time I’ve had terrible service at this chain, and the last. I’ll go back to Mavis."
