"Not a good experience, will not be back. Took my car in for rear brake, locking up, I assumed it was the rear brake pads froze in the slide mounts as this is a common problem. Received a phone call was told I need front and rear brakes rotors and new calipers. The estimated cost was $1890 with labor. I declined to have the service done, Our local Ford dealer and dropped it off. Just received a call From Dovi motors and was told I need rear brakes and rotors. Calipers are fine front brakes are fine. I’ve purchased five sets of tires from this location starting when it was Trombly Tires, unfortunately I will never be back."

"I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Larry over the phone on an issue with my daughter’s vehicle. She is a college student at SUNY Cortland. She called me to inform me that she had a run in with a curb and had sustained damage to both passenger side tires… they appeared to be still holding air, but she said there was visible damage to the rims and the rubber along the sidewall. She tried to send me pictures of the damage so I could assess it and let her know whether or not it was safe to drive. I am no tire expert, and it was hard to see from the pictures how severe the damage was. We live five hours away and she had planned to drive home for the weekend so I was worried about her having an issue or breaking down along the way. I called Steve Shannon Tire because I saw that it was close to campus. I am so happy I did! Larry answered the phone and was extremely helpful right from the start. All of this happened on a Thursday afternoon and she was planning on coming home the next day. Larry not only squeezed her into the schedule first thing the next morning, but he overnighted the exact tires that she needed as a precaution so that they would have them in stock if they needed to be replaced. When it came time for the appointment his technician did a thorough inspection of the rims and tires and deemed them safe to drive on. He very easily could have made a quick buck off me… I had no way of knowing five hours away how severe the damage was. Not only did he not sell me the tires that I did not need, but he had his technician top off all of her fluids and put the correct tire pressure in all four tires so she would be safe for her trip. The best part, is that he did all of this free of charge!! I can not say enough about Larry and the staff at Steve Shannon Tire. Their honesty, integrity and customer service are top notch! I will definitely do business there in the future. Thank you!!"
