"When me and my girlfriend spontaneously walked into The Brooklyn Inn for some Moscow Mules we were pleasantly surprised with the quaint and swank ambience inside. Unfortunately our experience was spoiled towards the end of the night due to the bar tenders insolence. We first witnessed the bartender shouting and swearing at customers (albeit they did appear difficult customers). As it was last orders I had politely said excuse me (since I wanted to check that there was enough time to play a game of pool) and in response the bar tender threw his finger up at me, not letting me even finish, turned around to everyone at the bar and indirectly ridiculed me for trying to get his attention. It is a great shame the night had ended like this as we would have liked to come back but due to the impertinent and childish behaviour witnessed we will not be returning."
"Old timey bar. Good beer selection. No specialty drinks or happy hour specials. Great vibe though. Good people"
"Sometimes you find the perfect happy ending to a hard day of vacationing, and this was that place for my friend and I. After putting many miles on the feet, we arrived here to find good drinks and great company. Best bar experience in awhile. Cheers"
"Went on a Sunday. Atmosphere was good, not crowded not too noisy, bartender was friendly and prompt. Seating is very limited though, we found a spot but it is was at all crowded we'd have been out of luck. Price was great, three beers for twenty bucks."
"Loved this old time bar. It is said to be the oldest in Brooklyn. Loved the woodwork and even how it looks outside. It's located on a quiet tree lined street. The vibe is laid back. The prices are great. There is a pool table in the back. Alec, the bartender, was very nice. It's a neighborhood bar but the people are very welcoming. I will definitely be back."
