"I’ve come here for years off and on. The baked goods are some of the best around and very traditional. I really love the ice box cake as well as the hello dolly bar. The restaurant itself looks like something out of a movie in terms of charm. There is a small amount of seating inside and some additional seating outside. The attitude of the staff (at all locations) has always not been great. It feels like no one wants to be there. Everyone is professional, they are just not friendly. It’s probably the main thing that stops me from coming back more often. I would recommend Billy’s Bakery and I will be back; however, there are definitely more innovative and friendly bakeries across the city."

"I went first thing in the morning and the cupcakes were definitely still from yesterday. Thats not a bad thing (the frosting was hard) but I was expecting fresh ones if I stopped there first thing. They also didn’t have all the flavors they had online which made me really sad because I wanted a Brooklyn Blackout cupcake and that didn’t exist."

"Delish vegan chocolate chip cupcake with buttercream frosting was the lone offering for those of us who follow the Kind Diet. Incidentally, this dessert was also gluten friendly. The servers more than made up for the lack of choice. And the atmosphere was charming!"

"We were so excited getting this cake for our baby’s first birthday. However I was so disappointed when I saw it. We ordered a unicorn cake at $139. The color is nice but the cake does not hold its shape. Unlike what you would expect for a frosting cake to hold its shape, the cake base and cream is too soft. My husband carried it and walked home. The cake did not survive the regular walk, its layer shifted and the cake collapsed. There is no way to salvage it and we have to run to get an another one. It is disappointing that it is pricey but the quality is not there."

"Love Billy's cupcakes and cakes. Definitely on the high end in terms of price (their whole cake is $80) but I've enjoyed all their flavors to date. Does cute lettering too with a color of your choice. FYI does not provide utensils (you can purchase a set) nor matches. Has cute candles and cards you can buy. Limited seating."
