"Went to French Laundry a while back and thought I needed to try Per Se. Some of the dishes were the same, which I didn't mind at all (e.g. oysters and pearls). Dishes were quite heavy but delicious Per Se had exceptional service. The waiters were friendly and were very on top of it (refilling drinks / answering questions etc) Had a pretty nice view of central park. Would I go again? Yes. I had a terrific experience BUT if you've been to french laundry and looking for a completely new experience then this isn't the place to go"
"A truly extraordinary culinary adventure awaits you in the heart of New York! Each and every course of the chef's meticulously crafted tasting menu is a masterpiece, made even more exceptional by the impeccable wine pairings. It's no wonder this restaurant has been awarded an impressive 3 Michelin stars. The flawless execution of every dish will create memories that will last a lifetime. However, I must admit that the service fell slightly short of my expectations, especially when trying to comprehend the sommelier's explanations through his mask (which proved quite challenging). Despite this minor setback, I can confidently say that this dining experience ranks as the second best in my life, surpassed only by the remarkable Jean George just a stone's throw away. I wholeheartedly recommend Per Se and I am already eagerly anticipating my return!"
