"Katy and xavier are amazing worker in that shop. Really they doung great job here"
"We loved the customer service and cakes from this Paris baguette. Nishika, who works there is amazing and super friendly."
"Overall food is good, most of the employees are great. But I had an older employee tell me that they didn't have milk tea. Sure, so instead we ordered iced black tea with milk and sugar. Then she says that they don't have sugar? Asking us to use the granulated sugar packets. I was confused as I was able to change the sugar level for my milk coffee? So after I got my drink I went and asked another employee to add simple syrup, and would you imagine, they do have it. Employees should be trained better to understand and provide logical substitutes. Black tea with milk is the same as milk tea, sugar in your drink is the same as simple syrup. Even if it isn't the same, being able to communicate with the customer to find a possible solution is a skill any employee should have. Then when we asked for our bread to be toasted, which is necessary for a hashbrown cheese bread and a service that they provide, she rolled her eyes at us. Please train your employees better."
"One of my favorite bakeries to go to - get the twister donuts or any cake slice with mango or strawberries. My go to place for quality birthday cakes too. Nish helped me choose my birthday cake and everyone loved the flavors."
"Like some of the other negative reviews here, we found a bug in my cake. It crawled out from one of the strawberries sitting on top of the cake, and, of course, we were all mortified. I later complained about it to two of the managers at this location, and one of them didn't seem at all surprised that it happened. They placed the blame on their fruit supplier, but honestly, I think the fruits themselves are fine and look fresh--they just need to be washed thoroughly before being used. Although both managers told me that their employees do wash the fruit, I'm convinced that they do NOT, b/c some of the fruit sitting on their cakes and pastries still looks dirty. The only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is that their cakes and some of their pastries taste good, even though they may not be quite sanitary. I got a free coffee frappe today b/c they were sorry about what had happened with my cake, but unfortunately I took just a few sips before throwing it away b/c the liquid almost immediately separated from the ice (see pic). Not even Starbucks frappuccinos are this bad! I love the Paris Baguettes in Korea, but the quality control at some of their US locations (esp. this one) is simply awful. If a bug had been discovered in a pastry or a cake at a PB location in Korea, it would be all over the news and the location would probably be shut down immediately. But at this Flushing location, multiple customers have discovered insects and/or mold on food items, and yet this store doesn't seem to be adequately addressing this ongoing issue. Guess I'll just have to wait to get my PB fix until the next time I visit Korea. =("
