"This location of Buttercup is disappointing in its offerings compared to the Buttercup location in east midtown. The selection of cake slices is very limited. The space is very small and there is no indoor seating. The staff was very nice. The cake slice I got today was very moist and yummy. The slice is a great size for the price. Would come again, but I really wish they offered more, like the ube and the strawberry cake they offer at the other location."
"We wanted a super specific cake for our daughter’s bday party. We didn’t have the capacity to send details so their design specialist worked hard to deliver our request. The cake was beautiful and delicious!! Also, bright colors but made without handful chemicals."

"Stepped in to check this place out since I’d never been inside. Opened at this location in 2022 but looks like the business was founded in 1999 and the original location at the time was in fact across the street on W 72nd. Buttercup Bake Shop’s founder, Jennifer Appel, co-founded Magnolia Bakery in 1996."
"Love the banana pudding which is to die for. Also, the strawberry cheesecake is the ultimate best pastry from this business!! I recommend anybody to purchase these two top of the world sweets!!"
