Miss Madeleine

"I had the pear/almond tart, it was delicious (see photo). The tart's dominant flavor is not from almonds themselves, but from what seems like almond flavor enhanced dough. On another day I tried their banana bread which has a lot of chocolate chips in it. It was a nice blend of the two flavors making for a pleasing dessert. The blending was such that it was hard to tell which of the two flavors dominated, if either."

"It's always worth lining up in front of this small store on Saturday morning. They have the freshest, tastiest, and most varied croissants! The leek Parmesan is my favorite, while the madeleines are my kids' favorite. Be sure to try the seasonal fruit croissants too!"

"I walk 10 blocks past 5 other bakeries to come here because the croissants are much better than the other ones in the area--you can tell that this bakery makes theirs fresh daily. Prices are quite low as well as a bonus!"

"The best thing I can say about Miss Madeleine is that it’s a lovely bakery. I have only been there a few times but everything I bought have been amazing. I loved how they put pictures of people’s pets on their wall. It’s so charming. When I come to a bakery like this, it’s so hard to decide what to get because I want everything. Lol! On my first visit I got a chocolate croissant and a slice of the French style cheesecake. Both were very tasty. Recently I bought a slice of the ham and cheese quiche. I took a taste of it and it was delicious. I intend to come to this bakery on a regular basis."
