"Best apple danish I’ve ever had! It was still warm and so tasty. Delicious mocha iced coffee as well. Friendly staff!"
"I was a regular here when I lived in Harlem and I’ve always loved this place; never had an issue. However, an airhead worked today. I ordered three items, she only gave me two. Someone gave me a hot dirty chai when I asked for it iced (I wrote it down as I’m deaf). I then asked for the cake I ordered. She proceeded to say she didn’t charge me for it. I was nothing but respectful, but she put on a show for the other customers until I asked for the receipt, which she had an issue providing. Once she realized that she did, in fact, charge me for it after finding the receipt, she had nothing to say. Just because she had a nasty attitude, I gave the items back and asked for a refund — she also had an issue with that. There’s a lot to smile about and be friendly for in this life, try considering it."
"I have tried their pastries as well as their coffee but never ordered an actual cake. Decided to try it out and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a Strawberry Shortcake made with a vanilla sponge and it was absolutely delicious. The cream was light and not overly sweet at all, which complimented the tartness of the strawberries. The sponge was soft and pillow like. It may look simple but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bakery!!Exactly what I had hoped for in this event."
"Very cool spot to stop for a quick pick me up. lots of different assortment in drinks hot and cold , and a few pastries to choose from. the young lady that took my order was very pleasant and friendly."
"I only found out about this place a few weeks ago and I cannot believe it took me this long to know about this hidden gem! I live on the UES and it’s difficult to go to Chinatown for pastries/buns/bao with my kids; this place satisfies my cravings! Workers are very nice, patient and always serves with a smile."
