"Bay Ridge Honda: A Tale of Stellar Service and a Faulty Steering Rack I purchased a 2024 Honda Pilot Elite from Bay Ridge Honda in January this year and experienced a recurring issue with the steering rack. Despite this frustrating problem, I can not emphasize enough how impressed I was with the exceptional service and support I received from Li and Tamisha, along with the rest of the team. Li's professionalism, attention to detail, and proactive communication were outstanding. He consistently kept me updated on the repair progress, going above and beyond to address my concerns. Tamisha, despite her busy schedule, also played a crucial role in ensuring a smooth experience, from coordinating repairs to overseeing the entire process. The dealership's commitment to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. They promptly replaced the steering rack under warranty twice, even offering a loaner vehicle for my convenience. Unfortunately, the issue persisted, indicating a potential manufacturing or design flaw in the steering rack itself. While the recurring problem was disappointing, Bay Ridge Honda's dedication to try to resolve the issue and their exceptional service made the experience bearable. Ultimately, I decided to sell the vehicle taking a $7,500 hit, but I would still recommend Bay Ridge Honda to anyone seeking a Honda dealership that prioritizes customer care. I would though suggest, prior to signing on the dotted line, buyers throughly inspect any vehicle they are about to purchase. In addition to the steering rack issue, I had several other minor concerns addressed, such as a faulty tailgate switch, a non-functional rear cigarette lighter socket, and the need for trailer hitch installation. The team handled each request promptly and efficiently, always with a friendly and helpful attitude. Overall, my experience with Bay Ridge Honda was a testament to their stellar service and commitment to customer satisfaction. While the three-star rating reflects the unfortunate steering rack issue (which is more a reflection on Honda itself), I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new Honda vehicle, perhaps just not the 4th generation Honda Pilot."
