"While visiting the farmers market, I saw this vendor and decided to try a few items. I bought the sesame bagel, everything bagel, almond croissant and cinnamon bun from the Blue Eyed Bakery @ Tonawanda Farmers Market. The bagels are absolutely amazing, they remind me of Long Island Bagels. They are large in size, moist and flavorful! The almond croissant was delish! The toasted almonds gave it such a great flavor and the filling was just the perfect amount. I would definitely go back and get these items again. I wasn’t a fan of the cinnamon bun, but I’m sure it was made with love! I will definitely go back again! You should give them a try, if you haven’t already."
"Excellent Food. I had the turkey sandwich and asked for it to be on a croissant. They made that switch no problem. It was huge but I still managed to get most of it down. Went home with the best scones I have ever had since coming home from Ireland. I no longer have to travel out of the country for a proper scone. Also brought home some sea salt caramel and chocolate hazelnut macarons. Best ever. Can't wait to go back and try more offerings. Not a fancy place but nice casual atmosphere. Self serve water on back counter in glass bottles as well as utensils etc. Great small play area for kids."
"I loved Blue Eyed Baker before they had a store front, and would get their goods them at Farmer's Markets, pop ups, and other cafes and shops where they sold their food (Kornerstone Cafe, Whole Foods, etc). They have grown up and grown into a HUGE stand alone cafe. It is airy, bright white, has tons of sunlight and space! They have invested in their business and it shows. I am so happy to see their new space- they deserved this and worked so hard! I am a fan of the classic croissant- but you can of course try the flavor! I love the almond and chocolate, but I still think you should try the plain one to experience their buttery, flaky dough, and see how wonderful a simple elegant baked good can be. They have an incredible espresso machine as well, so you can get your coffee on, too. I cannot recommend visiting this place enough. They have a play area for kids, beautiful blue and white mural along the main wall, an upstairs space, accessible spaces and entrances, and just an all around great vibe."
"I got the special Brioche French Toast “delicately topped with crème anglaise, fresh sliced strawberries, house-made granola, and a touch of mint”. My girlfriend got the egg and cheese on a croissant. The presentation of the Brioche French Toast had me excited to try it, come to find out it had little flavor and tasted like very wet bread. The granola also had a floral taste that I didn’t enjoy. The crème anglaise and the strawberries were the best part. My girlfriend enjoyed the breakfast sandwich but I thought it was dry and the croissant was very greasy. We also got an ice coffee with vanilla and almond milk which was good. Staff were friendly and helpful and atmosphere was very nice."
