"** Update: Received a call from the service manager regarding my experience (see below). He apologized and agreed that the lack of communication I experienced was not acceptable. While discussing my experience, he asked if I ever received the quote I requested for tires. I told him I did not. He took the matter into his own hands, picking out tires that would fit my needs (knowing I plan to sell or trade in the vehicle soon) and got me a great deal for the tires and even set up the installation appointment. He won my business back and once I decide it’s time to buy again, I will go to Basil. Thanks Alex and Jake for the great service! Chose this dealership because this is where I bought the vehicle from and it was covered under my extended warranty. Scheduled an appointment weeks in advance (and even knew what the issue was because our family mechanic found it). Brought truck in and later that day my service advisor called to tell me they confirmed the issue, it would be covered and they would provide me with a loaner. I was told they had the parts and it was an 8 hour job. I also asked him to quote me a price for 4 new tires. 2 days later, I called for an update. No return call. Another 2 days (4th of July was in between) I called for an update and was told my service advisor was off. I asked if there was someone who could give me an update and I was told they couldn’t find the paperwork. I asked for the manager and they took my contact info and said he would contact me back. No call back. Called again the following Monday and my advisor said he hoped to have my vehicle done mid-week. Called mid-week and was advised it wouldn’t be done until next week. We are now 2 weeks into what they said was an 8 hour job and while I had a loaner, it was not comparable to my vehicle, could not put dogs in it and this was interfering with summer vacation plans. Called again first thing Monday, was told I’d get a call right back. Come 4pm that day, no call back so I called again and spoke to a very friendly woman who promptly found out the status of my truck and told me it would be done the next day, which it was. Hopefully it’s done correctly because the run-around I got was ridiculous and everyone I dealt with (besides this woman) lacked customer service skills.I never did get the quote for new tires which is fine because I will never return to this dealership again."

"The pickup and drop off valet service was an unexpected treat, which was punctual and the driver was delightful. Mark, in service, actually answered my calls or got right back to me with complete and accurate information about my repair.I also had an easy and rewarding experience when I originally bought my used car from salesman, Colin. "Update: its been months since i left my original review and Basil has still done absolutely nothing to rectify this. This is the type of place that gives car dealers a bad name. I bought a brand new truck from Basil Ford several months ago. We worked out what should have been a great deal. Good price on the truck i was buying and a good offer on my trade in. That was the end of my being a satisfied customer. While i was signing paperwork and doing financing they informed me there was some transport damage on the truck. There were dents and scratches on the hood, door and cab corner as well as a chip in the windshield. I reluctantly followed through with the purchase because they promised everything would be taken care of. When i tried to have them take care of the damage on the truck is when i started getting the run around. I was told to talk to two different people in the body shop, the sales manager, the general manager and i was also told to call ford corporate. Another issue was they didn't have a certified ford glass installer. I couldn't get the body shop to schedule the truck in. I even offered to exchange some oil changes or accessories for compensation but they refused. So now i have a brand new damaged truck that has thousands of dollars worth of damage that i am going to have to pay out of pocket to have repaired. I would steer clear of this place. What seems like a good deal isn't always the case."
