"Rolls served pretty warm. Staff does not know how to communicate, like at all. I had a diet coke, a friend, a regular coke. The lady comes to give a refill and POURED from one new glass into my friends and just said Diet coke right, and my friend said no? She then poured it into my glass? I've never seen this behavior. Take the old empty glass, leave the new. Duh. Also spilled the soda onto the table while pouring, and some on our plate. I had 2 piece of sushi left, taking my time, watching ufc a different waitor, a man came and asked if I was done, I said no I'm still working, he legit did a circle around our small table and asked again? I said no?? The moment I had that last piece of sushi in my mouth he was there to take the plate and ask up if we want ice cream? Felt very rushed. When we split the bill, we put a tip on one card. A woman then out loud yelled something. Then said to my friend "no tip? Write here something tip tip" and we tried to explain what we already did, but she kept insisting on another tip? We had 3 different people come to our table. All rushing us and have weird serving manner. I will not go again. I felt rushed. Meanwhile, I see other tables not being bothered? When my friend goes with her boyfriend she said they do not act like this."
"such amazing sushi and hibachi. great lunch specials too."
"I had so much fun sitting down and enjoying the hibachi show ! Very accomodating , lively, and friendly ! Definitely going again."
"Finally, a sit-down eatery in Center worth raving about! It's honestly dangerous having this place so close to us, as a family that loves Asian food! I was there for a party the week it opened, and we all had a great time. It was our one friend's introduction to Hibachi in fact, and what a start! Anyone who's been to a restaurant that offers Hibachi knows how fun it is, what makes Mikado stand out however is how beautifully cooked the food is. The tofu is perfect and crisp, the veggies tender and not undercooked, all while having a show! Eating there Hibachi-free is great too. With such a broad menu, there's something for even picky eaters. The lighting is gorgeous, the wait staff is great, it's not too loud, and the wait time is fast. The best part is, whatever you get, you'll leave feeling full but not sick! Of course, the takeout is wonderful as well. I myself also love the tofu teriyaki, it's well-cooked with silken tofu, and not too salty. My family and I adore the seaweed salad, and the show stealer, the sushi. The salmon, eel avocado and angry dragon rolls are adored by my family, I myself love the avocado peanut roll, creamy and crunchy with two well-balanced flavors, and the sweet potato, sometimes still warm and extra crispy! Usually when a menu is as big as this, it's a terrible sign, but this is an exception to that rule. Mikado really is the best pan Asian place around!"
"We went here for my husband's birthday. We were seated at the hibachi in a small back private room. The hibachi entertainment was okay. Have been to shows where they were more entertaining and engaging but my son was scared of the fire so that could be the reason why they eased off of it. The food was really really delicious. I don't usually enjoy this style of cooking. We went here because my husband does. But I actually really enjoyed this."
