The story of Casino Cafe is intertwined with the rich heritage of Davis Park, dating back to the mid-20th century. Originally part of a land tract owned by Mr. Davis of Blue Point, this area transformed into a vibrant community hub thanks to the vision of four friends: Lee Coffin, Ed Sembler, Joe Gerard, and Al Brown.
Since our grand opening on June 6th, 1945, a day marked by historical significance with the Allied troops landing on the beaches of Normandy, Casino Cafe has been a cherished spot for locals and visitors alike. We take pride in serving delicious food in a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects the spirit of its founders.

"This is by far the best dining experience available on all of fire island! No disrespect to the other very few serving exceptional fare in a stunning dining room such as Top of the Bay in Cherry Grove but, this is the only true oceanfront dining experience and curated by the most talented chef and front of house team, bar none. PSA- Every summer I am shocked and appauled to see south shore families waiting in parking lots for hours on the main land to sit in plastic chairs in smelly marinas, paying ridiculous prices to eat mediocre food on paper plates when this gem is just a short ferry ride away. Do yourself and the fam a favor this summer and make the trip, you won't be disappointed"

"Absolutely a wonderful spot to experience meals and seafood, great beach views, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Pan Seared Halibut was delicious, Baked Clams are a must and the Fried Calamari are worth trying! Stay for the bar if you want a fun night on the oceanfront."
