"Do not eat here, if you must I recommend the location in Union. Pepe’s BBQ in West Orange way better, and packed with flavor and tenderness for $3 less. This place has fallen off. I ordered a half chicken rice and beans and the chicken is so dry and overcooked I ended up throwing it away, it tastes like it’s old, the rice and beans has 0 seasoning!! I wish I ate in the restaurant because I would have requested a refund immediately. Their prices have gone up and the quality is 0 the plate should be free. Finally I asked for their bbq sauce on the side and they gave me regular sweet baby ray’s bbq sauce not their homemade sauce. I will not be returning ever."

"If i can put no stars i would i ordered food around 12:30 and i still don’t have it this is my first time ordering from this location and my last time an hour and a half later and still no food no communication with the store. Nothing I keep getting hung up on no answer. This is how you run a business."

"I am extremely disappointed I ordered a whole chicken paid 22.00 plus dollars and got home and it was only a half of chicken. I called and the girl is going back and forth with me that they put a whole chicken which by the way is dry. If their whole chicken has one leg and one wing I want to know what kind of whole chicken is born with half of body. Or maybe they just don’t understand what is a half and a whole. I’m just saying. Then she said to bring the whole food back across town and I all I wanted was my other half of chicken to feed my family of 4. I told her I can have my husband stop to get the other half of chicken because he was still out coming home from work and she is like you have to bring the whole food tray back and I am like lady I’m tired I don’t want to go back been out all day. I told her if I come back I want my food for free and my money back that I paid them and she still like no we can’t help you that way. My husband and two sons said it was dry and the fries was soggy. They disappoint in customer care service is a zero and the food is 2."

"This place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Much MUCH better than the East Orange location. They give you EXACTLY what you ask for! I love my ribs well done with a little extra burn on them and they always get it right. Workers are beyond polite and know how to treat customers well. Never once had a problem. I can't get enough of their food!"
